We will work with you to map, inventory, and tag your end-user devices to facilitate efficient support and asset management.  Our support team can be available 24x7 using a combination of on-site presence and remote access technologies to support your devices in a timely manner.

MANAGED SERVICES

WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Representatives of Talus will meet with you to review the hardware and software in use at your company.  We will work together to create a customized support proposal designed to support your business needs.

 

Once an agreement has been signed we will come to your location and perform the following:

 

  • Perimeter Security Evaluation: We will evaluate your firewalls, proxy servers, and any externally available services to verify proper configuration and design.

  • Core Services Evaluation: Local area network, wireless network, Active Directory, LDAP, email, network shares, system backups, virus protection, and other infrastructure services wil be evaluated for proper configuration and design.

  • Application Evaluation: Talus will work with you and your vendors to map out your application systems as well as any hardware and software dependencies.  Application access and role based management functions will be evaluated for function and HIPAA compliance.

  • HIPAA audits will be performed for our healthcare clients.

 

Upon completion of the evaluation we will meet with you to go over the results.  You can expect a full set of documentation including network and system maps, inventory documentation, a service design package, our findings, and a proposed timeline for implementing any changes that will enhance the security and stability of your environment.

SUPPORT STRATEGY

 

Our business model incentivizes proactive management practices in each of the above mentioned areas as well as our relationships with our customers.  Toward that end there are a number of processes you can expect to see when you do business with us.

 

  • Regular meetings to review support performance, project statuses, and general business needs.

  • Full customer access to support tickets for review.

  • Create and update detailed network, system, and device maps.

  • Create and maintain a detailed inventory of your hardware and software assets.

  • Create and maintain an on-premise library of all applicable hardware and software documentation.

  • Annual or semi-annual budget planning for capital and operational expenses.

 

We never lose sight of the fact that we are partnering with you to manage your technology.  All system documentation, inventory lists, and maps will be available to you at all times.
